 12 Junior High 7-on-7 Squads battling in Buena Park

11:05 am - The wet weather has impacted the fields (note revised schedule below) but not the competition. MB Horned Frogs is facing BigPlay Football One on Field 3.  Winner Circle is playing Posse on Field 4.

11:22 am - MB Horned Frogs outlast BigPlay Football One 8-6 in the first pool play game.  In the other game, Winner Circle runs by Posse, 26-0, setting the tone for the day.

11:47 am - Zorts blows by Reaching Higher Two, 26-0, for an impressive win in their first game.  Energy Athletes and IE Ultimate played to a close 21-19 game with Energy coming out victorious.  Up next is MB Horned Frogs versus Reaching Higher One on Field 3 and Stockton's Elevate taking on Winner Circle on Field 4.

12:12 pm - MB Horned Frogs defeat Reaching Higher One, 14-7, to improve to 2-0 in pool play and pushing for a top seed this afternoon in the playoffs.  Winner Circle as well is 2-0 with a 18-6 win over Elevate.  Zorts will face BigPlay Football Two on Field 3, and Real Speed will face Energy Athletes on Field 4.

12:38 pm - Zorts scores another shutout, 25-0, over BigPlay Football Two. Energy Athletes is impressive with a 30-6 win over Real Speed.  Both teams improve to 2-0 in pool play.

1:03 pm - BigPlay Football One defeats Reaching Higher One for the first win.  The 19-12 victory puts them a position for a No. 8 seed or higher.  Reaching Higher One drops to 0-2.  Posse also scores its first win, 20-6, over Elevate.  Posse finishes 1-1 while Elevate drops to 0-2 in pool play.  Last round of pool play begins at 1:05 pm.

​1:25 pm - BigPlay Football Two make a statement with a 12-0 win over Reaching Higher Two.  Posse also gets on the winning side with a 20-6 win over Elevate.

1:43 pm - The Playoffs are set with Zorts earning the top overall seed.  Winner Circle is the second seed followed by Energy Athletes, and MB Horned Frogs as the top four that earn byes in the first round.  BigPlayFootball One is the 5th seed followed by Real Speed, Posse, BigPlay Football Two, Reaching Higher One, IE Ultimate, Elevate and Reaching Higher Two.

2:20 pm - BigPlay Football Two and Posse advance to quarterfinals.  BigPlay Football Two holds off Reaching Higher,13-6, while Posse uses a two-point conversion to defeat IE Ultimate 8-7.

2:42 pm - In dramatic fashion, Elevate wins its first game with a 13-12 overtime victory.  A pass deflection on the final play of OT sealed the win over Real Speed.  On the other side of the bracket, BigPlay Football One defeats Reaching Higher Two, 20-6.

3:08 pm - Zorts and Winner Circle hold serve as top seeds with 12-7 and 13-6 wins over BigPlay Football 2 and Posse, respectively.  Zorts and Winner Circle both advance to semifinals and earn a berth into second annual Junior Best of the West.

3:30 pm - Elevate continues their impressive playoff run with a 14-6 win over previous unbeaten Energy Athletes.  BigPlay Football One also advances to semifinals with 7-6 overtime win over unbeaten MB Horned Frogs.

4:00 pm - Winners Circle defeats Elevate 22-6 to advance to championship game.  Zorts also advances with a 13-12 win over BigPlay Football One.  It is No. 1 versus No. 2 in the title game.

4:30 pm - Zorts defeats Winners Circle to claim the Southern California Regional championship.  DeAndre Moore is named tournament MVP.
