 The largest elite 7-on-7 stage in California is now the largest 7-on-7 tournament ever to be held in the Golden State.  The Passing Down Elite 7-on-7 circuit hits Southern California for its elite SoCal Regional Two in Fontana on Sunday.  64 teams will be compete for six coveted berths to Best of the West VII.

9:05 am - The first of set of games are underway in the field of 63.  One late scratch (Frat Boyz Revolution) has reduced the Agility Pod (Field 7) to seven teams.  The schedule below has reflected that change.

9:10 am - A loaded field is in the house as the best of SoCal join teams from Northern and Central California, Arizona and Nevada.
 9:35 am - First set of games in the books with TNT Wallace 37-6 win over Abstract Bolts being the most dominant.  Ground Zero PASS -- despite being shorthanded and a bit late -- pulled out an impressive 18-6 win over B2G Future -- the young guns of the defending SoCal Regional champs B2G 5-Star.

10:15 am - The second set of games finished about 20 minutes ago with some close games including RhareBreed Congo taking out EastSide Elite, 27-24.  Congo qualified for Best of the West VII on Feb. 13 with a top four finish at the SoCal One Regional.

10:35 am - Schedule change in Power Pod (Field 2) as BrandSpeed is scratched.  B2G 5-Star Blue will play Silly U Green at 11 am.

10:40 am - The 10 am games are done with Body By Tra Commitment making the biggest statement with a 31-6 win over Ground Zero Ten Speed.

11:10 am - Four rounds of pool play are complete.  2015 Best of the West qualifier Ground Zero Sniper needed overtime to beat 2016 Best of the West qualifier Silly U Orange out of Richmond.  2015 SoCal Regional runner-ups Ground Zero Panoramic starts the day off with a 12-6 win over VGT Elite out of Modesto. Defending SoCal Champs B2G 5-Star Blue is playing its first game after their 10:30 game was changed to 11 am.

12:20 pm - The field is starting to shake up, two more rounds of pool play updated.  Final pool play game to begin in a few minutes.

1:30 pm - The brackets are set.

2:30 pm - Action is underway in the playoffs, No. 1 versus No. 8 in the books.

4:00 pm - After a first round that saw few upsets, we are down to 32.  HD Chiefs upset loss to VGT Elite is the only major defeat to note as winless VGT pulled out the win over 2-0 HD.

4:20 pm - Half of the Sweet 16 is set with all the No. 1 seeds holding strong save Premier that falls to pesky No. 5 seed Energy Elite.

5:30 pm - The Elite Eight is set with a few surprises.  B2G 5-Star Black and Blue are ousted by AV Elite and Lids Team Sports, respectively.  AV Elite was a late addition is running with just nine players today.  Proway Hot Boyz knocks out unbeaten Ground Zero PASS.  Ground Zero Panoramic uses a last minute interception to seal a win over AIGA.  Energy Elite continues it's hot run with a upset win over RhareBreed Ambush.  M&D Rundat beats Body by Tra Commitment in a battle of unbeaten teams.  E.A.T beats hot Cali Phenom to win its pod.  GameChangersGridiron Evolution beats RhareBreed Congo to close out the top eight today in Fontana. 

6:00 pm - The Final Four is set with Lids Team Sports, GameChangersGridiron Evolution, Ground Zero Panoramic and Proway Hot Boyz earn berths to Best of the West VII.  The consolation bracket will determine the final two teams that will earn berths to BOTW VII.

6:35 pm - Congratulations to AV Elite and Energy Elite for winning their consolation matchup and earning a berth to BOTW.

6:35 pm - The top unbeaten monsters of Southern California are set to battle it out for the SoCal Regional title.  Ground Zero Panoramic returns to its second consecutive SoCal title game, they will face Proway Hot Boyz.

7:19 pm - Proway HotBoyz defeat Ground Zero Panoramic, 14-6, in championship game. Tyjon Lindsey out of Corona (Calif.) Centennial is named MVP.
